The first step in the process is getting to know you and more about your business. We will set up a time that works best for you, and give you a phone call. During that call, I will find out more about your business goals, what you need from me, and answer any questions you may have.
Next step is to sign an engagement letter with Mediatrix. Mediatrix uses DocuSign to get electronic signatures from both the client and the bookkeeper doing the work. The engagement letter will spell out the exact services I will provide, the cost associated, as well as the bank account information of the client to pay for the work. Everything will be detailed for you. No surprises here!

In your QuickBooks file, please follow these steps to invite Mediatrix to be your bookkeeper:
Click the Gear Icon at the top right of your QuickBooks page
On the left of the box, click "Manage Users"
Click "Invite Accountant" from here
You will put in the email address for your bookkeeper. This with hpennington554@gmail.com
In order to complete the necessary bookkeeping work for you, your bookkeeper will need to access your bank account. All login information is kept secure. We may go over log in the first time together, to make sure I have the correct username, password and security questions.
· I understand that giving out personal bank information can be concerning. This is a vital step to take to get your finances all in one place. I use LastPass to keep all your information secure.
Once that is done, we will be set to go! You can take a breath and enjoy a little much needed free time.
The following financial reports will be provided by the 5th of the following month:
· Profit & Loss
· Balance Sheet
· Cash Flow Report
*Other reports may be available upon request.
When it comes time for you to file your taxes, I will provide your accountant with up-to-date financials. Making tax season a breeze.
